Web Rachid Benlamri, Lakehead University, Canada Jawad Berri, Etisalat University College, United Arab Emirates Yacine Atif, Massey University, New Zealand Abstract This chapter focuses on the theoretical and technological aspects of designing mobile learning (m-learning) services that deliver context-aware learning resources from various locations and devices.

Similarly, domain ontology rules are used to infer the necessary learning content, learning granularity, and the learning sequence. Rules from the three ontologies are applied in the order shown in the learning cycle given in Figure 6. Finally, the bottom layer includes the interaction manager which deals with the learner’s queries and controls the learning sequence. The reasoning engine is also responsible for retrieving learning resources from distributed Web repositories. For that, it triggers agents that use a set of Web services to search for the resources required for a learning session, namely the learning objects, the user’s learning profile and also learning experiences to build and adapt the learning web.
