Mitch, Julie and Evan – Chop Buddy Walk

Julie, Mitch and Evan all appeared on Philly Talk on CBS 3 today promoting awareness for Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) and highlighting the upcoming CHOP Buddy Walk. Legislator of the Year Presentation

Rep. Gene Digirolamo with Tim and Carol Lawrence On April 9th 2013 in Harrisburg Pennsylvania as part of The Arc of Pa's SAGA day Representative Gene Digirolamo was presented with the legislator of the year award. This is an annual award presented to the legislator who has made significant advancements for individuals with disabilities. Tim Lawrence, a volunteer with The Arc Alliance was invited to assist in presenting Representative Gene Digirolamo of Buck’s County with the legislator of the year award from The Arc of Pennsylvania. PA General Assembly Recognizes Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children Month

Led by the Early Childhood Education Caucus co-chairs, Senator Pat Browne (R-Lehigh) and Representative Phyllis Mundy (D-Luzerne), the Pennsylvania Senate and House adopted resolutions on October 1 recognizing October 2012 as Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children Month, “recognizing that every child in Pennsylvania deserves access to quality early learning opportunities and that it is the responsibility of every citizen of this Commonwealth to help our children reach their promise.” You can read the full resolutions on the PA General Assembly website.
