What do you get when you mix Scott (the Executive Director of the Foundation) who is as funny as a bag of mashed potatoes (not that funny) with two comedians (Jimmy Carroll and Chip) who are as funny as the three stooges the answer is the funniest night and ever!

That’s right on Friday the Arc Alliance hosted, in my opinion the funniest people in America. Of course it took a lot of time to get in there, but once we were there we could not stop laughing! Here is the story from the beginning.  The event was at The Worcester Golf Club this is not too far from where I live.

My mom worked on Friday so I had to wait for her to get home before we could head to the event. As you can imagine the wait was pain stakingly slow. Waiting was completely opposite of the event itself. The night flew by from start to finish. Thankfully the golf course had a lift so I could get to the second story. The manager and staff were very helpful. In order to get me in I had to sit on a chair and the chair will go up and down a flight of stairs the manager held me on the chair while it went up and down. This was not a chair lift but a lift with a chair. What’s the difference you ask? Well a chair lift would have

enabled me to stay in my power chair where a lift with a chair requires me to get out of my chair and ride up in a seat. At the top my mom lifted me into a non-powered chair we have for such situations. My mom is great for going through all the issues just to get to the show. We both had had a lot of fun. 🙂

There were about 165 people there.

The comedians were local and came from Quakertown and Eagleville. It was fun because they incorporated the local issues into their shows. They both have been on comedy central. They made fun of Worcester being in the middle of nowhere which is true!

I can tell that they were good at what they do, because they could take something that someone in the audience said and turned it into a joke in five seconds flat. I am pretty sure I could not do that.

At the end of the performance they had raffle baskets ranging from a spa day basket a lot of Wine and spirits baskets and my personal favorite one was the chocolate of the month f

rom Sweet Ashley’s Chocolates in Royersford. The person that won that is very lucky. Even someone from the Arc Alliance won a basket! They won a steak dinner. I still have not found out how the dinner was, I will let you know as soon as I do.

e The Arc Alliance hosts another comedy night fundraiser. I will make sure that my mom has the day off so we can get there earlier and I can have her put in raffle tickets! I hope Sweet Ashley’s Chocolates donates the chocolate of the month gift again!! Trust me if you were not there this time you need to make sure you don’t miss the next one! That is of course only if you like to laugh a lot! If you don’t like to laugh then we need to talk!I hop

Have a great week a

nd I look forward to next week. If you were at the show please comment and let me know what you thought. I wish I could remember all of their jokes!!
