Abused at 5 weeks old, Colton suffered a traumatic brain injury. He depended on a feeding tube, did not have functional use of his limbs, his body was always limp, and he held a downward gaze. Colton never cried. At 10 weeks old, Colton’s foster mother was told he would never make “a meaningful recovery.”
Soon after, Colton began Early Intervention (EI) services with The Arc Alliance including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Vision Therapy, Physical Therapy, Special Instruction, and Nutrition Consultation.
Thanks to his EI care team, not only has Colton made a meaningful recovery, today Colton plays soccer, does therapeutic horseback riding, and even rides a modified tricycle.
Thank you to our generous donors for giving Colton another chance at life.
