How do you want to be supported during a disaster?

Seeking self-advocates to support and direct an emergency preparedness workgroup.

  • Emergency preparedness is a term that refers to planning and actions taken to increase safety during an emergency, such as a natural disaster like a flood, severe weather, etc.
  • The goal of this workgroup is to support Intellectual Disability and Autism (ID/A) emergency preparedness in the public, non-profit, and private sectors.
  • The workgroup will be directed by self-advocates and supported by the Temple University Institute on Disabilities, The Arc of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs.

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
